So......Why we have a $3.00 minimum purchase.

Because you told us you want us to stay in business for you  to enjoy for years to come.

If you have been to The Singin' Bean you already know that we have a special space challenge.  We also have 3 challenges that Restaurants and Bars do not have:

1)We do not have the revenue from Alcohol Sales that Bars and Taverns enjoy.

2)We do not turn tables ever 2 hours as most restaurants do as Karaoke is an event that people stay for.

    3) We are upstairs and the truth of the matter is people just don't look up.

Although, the perception is that everything above cost is profit in this type of business that simply isn't the case. There are overhead charges to consider.  Rent and Utilities Phone, paper products and the list goes on and on.

So lets just assume that everyone pays $3.00 every Karaoke night and the room is at full capacity which is 24 people every single week. 3 nights a week times 4 weeks is 12 Karaoke nights a month times 24 people = 288 now multiply ONLY the $3.00 minimum. That is a total monthly Gross of $864.00. Gross not Net. Friends, this doesn't  even begin to cover the Rent and Utilities per month and we still haven't subtracted the Cost of Food or any of the other fees and charges it takes to run a restaurant, nor the fact that I have a family to provide for.  So asking our customers to buy food and drinks while they enjoy our Karaoke is just our way of staying in business for you to enjoy in the future.

We truly need for you to help us out by visiting us as often as you can, budge to spend your entertainment dollars with us and remember that the $3.00 is a way of contributing to your future entertainment with us, and Please, Tell your friends and family about The Singin' Bean.. Remind them to LOOK UP. Dinner and a Movie cost so much more than a few hours of Karaoke and Dinner at The Singin' Bean.  Thanks so much

Respectfully,

Cindy Pitts Gilbert Owner
